Jarrett Orbin
My name is Jarrett Orbin and I’ve became involved in yearbook my junior year, so this is my first year. My goal throughout the year is to create a fantastic yearbook for the students at Springfield High School.

Here at SHS, I participate in the marching band, pep band and concert band where I play the trumpet. I have been a member of the varsity baseball team since my freshman year. I played outfield mostly and I was the backup catcher. Something interesting about myself is that I like to play baseball in my free time, and I hope to play at a college and earn a scholarship.

Outside of school I play travel baseball for the Ohio Glaciers where I am the catcher and second basemen. I also am a Boy Scout for Troop 119, where we do volunteer work around the community. Recently, I completed my Eagle Project where I made a walkway at the football stadium. I used to do Tap Dance at KDGC in Poland for three years and then I did gymnastics for two years.

What I enjoy most about yearbook is designing the school’s yearbook and helping the editors. I like taking photos and writing for the yearbook.

When I start college I hope to study Physical Therapy or Sports Medicine. I would like to attend Mercyhurst University, Mount Union or Youngstown State University.
